Hi, I’m Teagan!

While my overeager grin of 37 teeth might terrify new students and small animals alike, I warn you that it is merely a symptom of my unwavering passion for art and design. I’m Teagan Trabulsy—artist, educator, and founder of Studio Teagan. I create expressive oil paintings of waves and western landscapes using classical techniques like impasto, alla prima, and Flemish glazing to explore themes of resilience, chaos, and calm.

Alongside my fine art practice, I’m a passionate graphic designer, blending emotional storytelling with strategic thinking to build authentic, memorable brand identities. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as UX principles from Google's certification program, I craft thoughtful logos and visual assets for clients who want their message to truly resonate.

I teach middle and high school art in northern Colorado and will begin my Master of Arts in Art & Design this fall at the University of Northern Colorado. I believe in the power of creativity to spark change—within ourselves, our communities, and our planet. A portion of my proceeds supports environmental conservation efforts that align with the natural beauty that inspires my work.

I'm an active member of the Thompson Valley Art League and the Plein Air Artists of Colorado, and I regularly exhibit my work in regional shows and art festivals. Whether I’m painting in the field, designing for clients, or mentoring young artists in the classroom, my mission is simple: to create with purpose, passion, and impact.
